Online Adjunct Instructor
About The Position
Oral Roberts University invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty positions. Online adjunct applications will be considered as needed. Instructors teach in the university’s online offerings and/or general education subject areas. Candidates should be committed to the Christian lifestyle of the ORU community of faith and to academic excellence. Applicants must complete the ORU faculty application, provide transcripts from all colleges and universities listed on their C.V. and application, and provide names and email addresses for three references. Online offerings include Business Administration; Christian Caregiving and Counseling; Communication; Digital Communication; English Language Learning; Financial Management; Healthcare Administration; Historical and Philosophical Theology; Human Resource Management; Information Technology; International Business and Ministry; Leadership Studies; Liberal Studies; Management; Marketing; Psychology; MSN and DNP; Special Education; and Spirit-Empowered Living, Ministry, and Leadership. General education subject areas include Biology, Chemistry, Communication, Composition, Environmental Science, Foreign Language (Spanish and French), Online Learning Strategies, Government, Health and Physical Education, Humanities, Mathematics, Physical Science, Scaffolded Interdisciplinary Courses, Social Science, and Theology. Some areas require a doctoral degree, are limited to bilingual applicants, or are not accepting applications at this time, as specified in the posting.
Requirements
- A master's degree in the teaching field; a doctoral degree is required to teach graduate-level courses.
- Access to a computer.
- Commitment to daily monitoring of the class and prompt responses to student questions and grading needs.
- Commitment to the Christian lifestyle of the ORU community of faith and to academic excellence.
- Complete the ORU faculty application.
- Provide transcripts from all colleges and universities listed on the applicant's C.V. and application.
- Provide names and email addresses for three references.
Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Monitor assigned classes daily.
