About The Position

Eckerd Connects seeks employees who are passionate about serving and making a difference in the lives of others. This role is for a Part-Time One-Stop Operations Coordinator, working up to 29 hours per week. The position involves ensuring efficient operations within the One-Stop Centers, coordinating staff deployment, managing coverage plans, and fostering a positive customer experience. The role also includes monitoring supplies, communicating needs to management and funders, assisting with meetings and partner agreements, and generating reports. Eckerd Connects provides Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) services through contracts with the U.S. Department of Labor and local workforce boards, aiming to create career pathways for youth, adults, and dislocated workers. Services include occupational skills training, customized training, on-the-job training, incumbent worker training, and transitional employment opportunities. They also provide youth development, academic instruction, career & technical education, and access to WIOA Youth Elements, while developing relationships with employers and industry partnerships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social services, counseling, business, or a related field from an accredited college or university; or a suitable combination of education and experience.
  • Two or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, database tracking systems.
  • Facilitate travel through the assigned area.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must successfully pass a background screening process, including, but not limited to, state, local, and funder criminal background check requirements.
  • Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
  • Must have appropriate and valid state driver’s license and be able to meet requirements for Eckerd’s Auto Insurance and be able to drive for business purposes.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working with the target population is preferred.
  • Experience with social services in the community, particularly in workforce, employment and training.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that center staff are appropriately deployed and that staffing ratios comply with the service plan.
  • Coordinate and relay coverage plans for office closures and outages.
  • Ensure that all partners are working together to meet or exceed contractual performance goals within the guidelines of the operating budget and program deliverables.
  • Ensure a positive and welcoming customer experience at all regional One-Stop Centers.
  • Monitor supplies, order inventory, and report needs accordingly.
  • Communicates facility and partner needs to Eckerd manager and funder contacts.
  • Assists with scheduling and delivering One-Stop Partner meetings.
  • Assist in maintaining agreements (MOUs & MOAs) with partners in the region.
  • Establishes and maintains monthly and quarterly reports to ensure the timely and accurate flow of information including providing information to the region’s ADA & EEO Coordinator.
  • Assists in establishing linkages with other community service-related agencies.
