About The Position

The ONC Security Officer, also described as a Loss Prevention Officer, helps ensure the safety and comfort of hotel guests and employees. The role enforces hotel policies and procedures, documents assigned tasks, and prepares incident and accident reports accurately in the required format. The officer also performs other security and safety duties as assigned by the department manager.

This is an on-call position with varying shifts. The officer must be able to work mornings, afternoons/evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays, and remain flexible. The position involves standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds throughout a shift.

Requirements

• Previous security experience is required.
• Ability to keep accurate records and communicate using radio equipment.
• Ability to work mornings, afternoons/evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays, with flexibility for varying shifts.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout a shift.

Nice To Haves

• Red Cross and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report on all assignments.

• Record and report unsafe conditions while patrolling hotel property.
• Protect and preserve hotel, guest, and employee property.
• Enforce hotel policies and procedures.

• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
