About The Position

Plans, coordinates, and manages the onboarding portion for team members. Works as a liaison between the department and educational operations. The Onboarding Coordinator's role is to provide an outstanding onboarding and growth experience.

  • 1-3 years Related experience in a similar role and/or within the hospitality industry

Responsibilities

  • Plans, coordinates and manages all facets of onboarding and implementing those plans with the direct leadership team.
  • Focuses on positive culture through process improvement and educational planning.
  • Ensures all onboarding and retention plans are effectively communicated to the leadership team and implementation dates with time lines are developed and followed.
  • Ensures efficient communication between support service staff and leadership when planning and coordinating an improvement project.
  • Creates and manages online learning modules, training documents and check lists to create a smooth, efficient and effective process to ensure retention of staff.
  • Creates and maintain relationships with new and existing staff and leadership.
  • Ensures that every new team member is onboarded effectively no matter the role the staff member holds.
  • Works with leadership to ensure a well communicated and positive onboarding experience for every team member.
  • Assists in guiding the Culture Committee.
