The Good Samaritan Child Development Center provides a State-licensed, full-day preschool program for children 2 to 5 years of age. The program's goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment that encourages physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development through a developmentally appropriate, child-centered, dual-language (Spanish/English) curriculum. Children participate in activities designed to develop social skills, enhance fine and gross motor skills, encourage creative learning, cognitive development, and teach pre-literacy skills. This is an on-call Substitute Teacher position intended to support both Child Development Center sites as needed, providing general classroom support. The CDC Director will coordinate scheduling needs with notice, communicating the need for services via phone call or text by the morning when services are required. The On-call Substitute Teacher will communicate their availability upon notification.
