About The Position

Good Shepherd Assisted Living & Memory Care is hiring an On-Call Home Health Aide (HHA) to help ensure residents receive high-quality care. The role provides coverage at the Sauk Rapids and Becker campuses and is suited to someone comfortable working in a fast-paced, varied environment as part of a supportive, resident-centered team. The employee may pick up extra shifts for additional hours.

On-call hours run from Friday at 4:00 PM through Monday at 8:00 AM. The position is part-time and is based at Shepherd of Grace in Becker, Minnesota. No travel percentage is listed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be active on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry or provide a certificate of completion from an approved 75-hour Nursing Assistant course.
• At least 6 months of caregiving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful leisure and recreational activities.
• Assist residents with ambulation, transfers, and exercise.
• Assist with medication administration under the direction and supervision of the RN.
• Accurately document medication administration in the Electronic Medication Administration Record (EMAR).
• Promptly report changes in residents’ conditions to the RN.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
