About The Position

LocalTopia Hospitality Group is seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman / Maintenance Support person to assist their restaurant group with a variety of repair, upkeep, and project-based needs across multiple properties. This role is ideal for someone with strong general maintenance skills, good availability, and the ability to respond to both scheduled and urgent maintenance needs. The work is flexible and on an as-needed basis, offering steady side work with a local hospitality group. The specific tasks will vary weekly and may include light plumbing repairs, electrical troubleshooting, general repairs, furniture assembly, moving fixtures, minor maintenance projects, seasonal setup/breakdown, and occasional urgent maintenance.

Requirements

• Experience with general handyman or maintenance work.
• Comfortable handling a variety of small repair and upkeep projects.
• Dependable, responsive, and able to work independently.
• Reliable transportation.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in and around active restaurant environments.

Nice To Haves

• Preferably have their own tools.
• Licensed and insured contractors are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Perform light plumbing repairs.
• Conduct light electrical troubleshooting.
• Handle general repairs and upkeep.
• Assemble furniture, shelving, or equipment.
• Move deck furniture or restaurant fixtures.
• Complete minor maintenance projects across restaurant properties.
• Provide seasonal setup and breakdown support.
• Address occasional urgent maintenance needs.
