On Call Concierge - Hope Lodge - New Location in San Antonio
About The Position
The On Call Concierge supports guests at the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge in San Antonio, a welcoming home away from home for cancer patients and caregivers traveling for treatment. The role provides front-desk and guest services, including check-in and check-out, information about lodge amenities and community resources, coordination of transportation and EMPOWER Program services, responses to requests and emergencies, and support for lobby security and safety protocols. The position is part-time and on-call, with shifts offered according to business needs. Shifts may include day, evening, overnight, weekday, and weekend hours. The base pay is $19.50 per hour, with shift differentials for specified hours. Minimal travel is required. The target start date is November 20, 2026, pending completion of the hiring process and any pre-employment requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and multitask.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and multi-line phone systems.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Additional education or training in hospitality management or customer service.
- Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, or a related field.
