Concierge Opportunities, Hope Lodge - San Antonio - New Location (Various Shifts Available)
About The Position
The Concierge serves as the first point of contact for guests at the new Hope Lodge San Antonio, a welcoming home away from home for cancer patients and caregivers traveling for treatment. The role manages front desk operations and helps provide a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment. Duties include assisting with guest check-in and check-out, responding to inquiries, and coordinating transportation and security-related needs. Hope Lodges operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The posting describes several schedules and says full-time and part-time opportunities are available across daytime, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. Eligible hours outside regular daytime schedules may qualify for shift differential pay. The stated base pay rate is $19.50 per hour. Minimal travel is required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and multitask.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and multi-line phone systems.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to meet the physical demands described, including extended standing and walking, occasional lifting and moving of items, and assisting guests with manual tasks.
Nice To Haves
- Additional education or training in hospitality management or customer service.
- Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, or a related field.
