About The Position
Jovie of Boise is hiring reliable, professional On-Call Child Care Sitters to provide safe, high-quality in-home care for local families.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year child care experience
- CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain within 60 days
- Must own a reliable vehicle and have a valid driver’s license
- Smartphone with reliable cellular/Wi-Fi access
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and actively engage with children
- Employment contingent on successful background check
- Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check required
- Local travel to client homes required
- Must monitor scheduling app between 6:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m.
Nice To Haves
- Preferred availability: 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., Monday–Friday
- Additional availability for after-school hours, evenings, and weekends is required
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, nurturing care for children of all ages
- Supervise play, assist with meals, routines, and age-appropriate activities
- Communicate professionally with families and Jovie staff
- Complete caregiver reports and submit timesheets promptly
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
