On-Call Banquet Server
About The Position
Four Seasons Hotel Seattle is seeking an On-Call Banquet Server to join their team. This role participates in the service, setup, and removal of food and beverage during banquet functions. The server will maintain knowledge of menu items to confidently describe food during plated and buffet meals, and receptions. They will communicate guest orders, including special needs, dietary restrictions, or requests, to the kitchen. Key responsibilities include delivering food and beverage to guest tables in a timely manner, anticipating guest needs, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The role also involves breaking down, cleaning, and setting up tables, food buffets, and beverage stations, while ensuring Four Seasons service standards of excellence are achieved. The Banquet Server will work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
Requirements
- Strong food & beverage knowledge is required
- Food Handler Card and MAST Alcohol Permit is required at time of hire
- Maintain ownership of duties through hard work and discipline
- Flexible scheduling requiring availability of morning, afternoon, evening, weekends and holidays

- Banquet experience preferred
- Bartending skills is a plus

Responsibilities
- Participates in the service, setup and removal of food and beverage during banquet functions
- Maintains knowledge of menu items to be able to confidently describe food during plated and buffet meals along with receptions
- Communicates guest orders including any special needs, dietary restrictions or requests to the kitchen
- Delivers food and beverage to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure food quality
- Anticipates guests’ needs and responds promptly with utmost care and attention
- Ascertains satisfaction and offers suggestions in enhancing the guest experience
- Breakdowns, cleans and set-up of tables, food buffets and beverage stations
- Ensures Four Seasons service standards of excellence are achieved
- Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
