About The Position

Apple is looking for a creative, hands-on, self-motivated Engineer who will play a critical role in the design and performance of future displays used in Apple products! Our team has been at the forefront of cutting-edge OLED display technology, delivering multiple first-to-market displays with innovative, award-winning display performance. In this role, you will be designing, characterizing, and validating the performance of display prototypes, with a particular focus on the optoelectronic function of the display OLED pixels, heavily supported by opto-electrical models and specialized measurements. This role involves collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, display vendors, and material vendors to design and invent OLED display components. Develop and define OLED device electrical and optical performance specifications with potential suppliers. Use and expand on world-leading OLED simulation tools and measurement equipment. Lead by example within an internal cross-functional team, where team members possess optical, electrical, device, process, and panel design expertise. Cover the day-to-day developments with the display supplier’s OLED engineers as the primary technical contact window. Design and coordinate display testing protocols and review test results from the display vendors, system OEMs, and cross-functional groups at Apple. 10-15% international travel expected to display vendors for design reviews and planning.
