About The Position

To support Territory by servicing existing accounts, maintaining long-term customer relationships, and providing outstanding customer service. To reinforce sales management practices to enhance all levels of sales and profit within the branch.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed sales and profit goals established in consultation with branch management
  • Travel throughout target regions, to present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients
  • Initiate sales process by scheduling appointments, and understanding customer account requirements
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
  • Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships
  • Work with customer and company staff to establish new account, assist with maintaining and updating customer account information
  • Identify and resolve client concerns
  • Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, follow-up, and adherence to goals
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff
  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events
  • Follow-up for collection of payment
  • Provide on-the-job training to new sales employees
  • Analyze market data to identify potential areas for business expansion
  • Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions
  • Represent the company in a professional manner ensuring quality customer service both internally and externally
  • Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations, and procedures
  • Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company
  • Maintain a clean and organized company car
  • Work overtime as needed

  • Ensure customer account information is accurate in the system
  • Maintain communication with management with regards to pricing issues in the marketplace
  • Maintain communication with management by developing weekly itinerary and use of MAP reports
