About The Position

This role involves determining the appropriate equipment and methods for rigging up well testing equipment based on customer selections. The technician will lead the assembly and setup of service units, provide guidance to less experienced personnel, and operate on-call 24/7, requiring availability on short notice. Responsibilities include performing routine equipment maintenance, ensuring adherence to safety procedures, and maintaining a high standard of company image through personal appearance and equipment upkeep.

Requirements

  • Ability to determine equipment and best method to rig up according to customer package.
  • Ability to unload and assemble equipment, set up service unit, and initiate rig up with assistance.
  • Willingness to provide training, guidance, and leadership to less experienced personnel.
  • Availability to work on-call 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, with short notice availability.
  • Familiarity with correct SOP & QA/QC procedures.
  • Ability to perform basic routine equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to pull travel trailers to job site according to local regulations.
  • Ability to perform routine readings of equipment during rigging up.
  • Ability to assist with maintenance, painting, grinding, calibrating, and other equipment/facility needs.
  • Knowledge of maintenance forms for tracking work completion or out-of-service tagging.
  • Adherence to safe working practices, safety rules and regulations, and Company safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to initiate Job Safety Analysis procedures.
  • Ability to correct obvious hazards immediately or report them.
  • Willingness to attend training seminars.
  • Commitment to developing services and ensuring seamless operations from the customer's perspective.
  • Commitment to promoting Company Image through cleanliness and maintenance of facilities, vehicles, and personal appearance.
  • Ability to perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Determine equipment and best method to rig up according to the package selected by the customer.
  • With the assistance of other operators, unload and assemble equipment, set up the service unit, and initiate the rig up.
  • Provide training, guidance, and leadership in the operation of well testing equipment to less experienced personnel.
  • Work on-call 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, except for regularly scheduled days-off periods, and be available on short notice for performing work duties.
  • Be familiar with correct SOP & QA/QC procedures, and perform basic routine equipment maintenance in preparation for the next job.
  • Pull travel trailers to job site according to local regulations.
  • Perform routine readings of equipment during rigging up to ensure equipment is performing according to customer's requirements while maintaining a safe operation at all times.
  • Assist with maintenance, painting, grinding, calibrating, and any other equipment/facility needs, utilizing maintenance forms to ensure all work is completed properly or tagged for out of service if required.
  • Observe safe working practices, safety rules and regulations, and comply with Company safety policies and procedures.
  • Initiate Job Safety Analysis procedures prior to rig up and for Safety Meetings as well as tail gate meetings.
  • Correct obvious hazards immediately or report to Product Line Supervisor if not immediately correctable.
  • Attend in-house and/or outside training seminars to acquire basic knowledge of Company safety programs and policies.
  • Act to develop services in becoming a "Best-in-Class" service provider by working to ensure seamless operations as viewed by the customer.
  • Promote Company Image by ensuring facilities and vehicles are clean and well maintained, and personal appearance, uniforms, and PPE are clean and only have company-approved signs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
