About The Position

Utz Quality Foods is hiring an Oil Filtration Operator to join its manufacturing team in Goodyear, Arizona. The operator runs kettle fryers and assists with the oil filtration process. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Basic math and reading skills.
• Ability and willingness to stand for 100% of the work time.
• Knowledge of product quality and production processes.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds at a moderate level.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the proper oil level and monitor and maintain the proper oil temperature.
• Prepare manufacturing start-up at the assigned work area.
• Perform duties necessary for daily equipment shutdown and cleaning.
• Filter oil and change filter pads.
• Monitor equipment and report malfunctions to maintenance or a supervisor.
• Assist other operators when not assigned other duties.
• Work proactively in a cross-functional team with diverse groups of people.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor to support production.
