About The Position

Oil Change Technicians perform oil change services, 20-point maintenance checks, and minor light-duty automotive repairs. Selected technicians may also receive training to perform other specialty services. They greet customers in a positive, enthusiastic, and professional manner and educate them about the products and services offered. The role also includes facility cleaning and light maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, picking up trash, cleaning restrooms, removing snow, and performing light maintenance. Technicians help achieve customer satisfaction by meeting Delta Sonic's quality standards and work in state-of-the-art automotive service shops. The pay rate is $19.50 per hour, plus eligible commission. Year-round schedule availability is required; seasonal employment opportunities due to attending school are no longer available effective June 1, 2024.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A valid driver's license is preferred.
• Previous automotive service experience is a plus.
• Good mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot non-routine repairs.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for providing great customer service.
• Detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions, indoors and outdoors.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods, with or without accommodation.
• Ability to lift moderate amounts of weight, with or without accommodation.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
