About The Position

Oil Change Technicians perform oil changes, 20-point maintenance checks, and minor light-duty automotive repairs. Some technicians may be trained to perform specialty services. The role also involves greeting customers professionally and enthusiastically, educating them about products and services, and helping achieve customer satisfaction by meeting Delta Sonic's quality standards. Additional duties include sweeping, mopping, picking up trash, cleaning restrooms, removing snow, and performing light maintenance. The position is based in state-of-the-art automotive service shops and pays $19.50 per hour, plus eligible commission.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
A valid driver's license is preferred.
Good mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot non-routine repairs.
Excellent communication skills and a passion for providing great customer service.
Detail-oriented mindset.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Willingness to work in all weather conditions, indoors and outdoors.
Ability to work with a sense of urgency.
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods, with or without accommodation.
Ability to lift moderate amounts of weight, with or without accommodation.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
Year-round schedule availability is required; seasonal employment due to attending school is no longer available effective June 1, 2024.
