About The Position

Oil Change Technicians are front-line representatives of the Delta Sonic Team. They perform oil change services, 20-point maintenance checks, and minor light-duty automotive repairs. Selected technicians may also be trained to perform specialty services. They greet customers in a positive, enthusiastic, and professional manner and help educate them about the products and services offered. Technicians are responsible for meeting Delta Sonic’s quality standards and achieving customer satisfaction. The role also includes cleaning and light maintenance duties such as sweeping, mopping, picking up trash, cleaning restrooms, removing snow, and performing light maintenance. Technicians work in state-of-the-art automotive service shops and must be willing to work in indoor and outdoor environments in all weather conditions. Pay is $19.50 per hour, plus eligible commission. Year-round schedule availability is required; seasonal employment due to attending school is no longer available effective June 1, 2024.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
A valid driver's license is preferred.
Previous automotive service experience is a plus.
Good mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot non-routine repairs.
Excellent communication skills and a passion for providing great customer service.
Detail-oriented mindset.
Must be a team player.
Willingness to work in all weather conditions, indoors and outdoors.
Ability to work with a sense of urgency.
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods, with or without accommodation.
Ability to lift moderate amounts of weight, with or without accommodation.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
Year-round schedule availability is required; seasonal employment due to attending school is no longer available effective June 1, 2024.
