About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring an Oil Change Team Member to provide oil changes and other light vehicle maintenance services while delivering friendly, efficient customer service. No prior experience is required; the company provides paid training. Team members can learn to change oil, replace wiper blades and air filters, fill tires, and perform other light maintenance. The company describes opportunities for advancement, including a path from lube technician to shop manager and other leadership roles. Pay is advertised at up to $15 per hour, including base pay and commissions.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
• Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions when necessary.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
• Must be over 18 years of age, except in the listed states where applicants may be over 16: Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.
• Must be willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off vehicle fluids.
• Perform coolant exchanges.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
