About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a part-time Oil Change Team Member to join its growing crew. No previous experience is required; paid training is provided to teach team members oil changes, wiper blade and air filter replacements, tire inflation, and other light maintenance services. The role is suited to someone willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude while providing excellent customer service.

Pay is up to $15 per hour, including base pay and commissions. Team members can also earn weekly bonuses and are paid weekly. Take 5 offers opportunities to advance, with training to help crew members progress into leadership roles. The company states that more than 90% of its Shop Managers started as lube technicians. Additional offerings include free oil changes and early access to 50% of earned wages through the myFlexPay program.

Requirements

• No prior experience is required; must be willing to learn and work hard.
• Must bring a positive attitude.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
• Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions when necessary.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids.
• Perform coolant exchanges.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
