About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a part-time Oil Change Team Member to provide oil changes and other light vehicle maintenance services while delivering excellent customer service. No prior experience is required; the company provides training to prepare team members to change oil, replace wiper blades and air filters, fill tires, and perform other light maintenance. The role offers pay up to $15 per hour with base pay and commissions. Paid training can support advancement within the company, and the posting notes that over 90% of Shop Managers started as lube technicians. The position involves working in a shop environment and may require working in hot or cold weather. Team members must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, maneuver in and out of a shallow three-foot pit, and perform physical activities such as walking, standing, bending, stooping, twisting, holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods. Reliable transportation to and from the shop is required.

Requirements

No experience required; must be willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, three-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
Must be over 18 years of age, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.
