About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring full-time crew members and lube technicians. No prior experience is required; paid training is provided. Team members learn to change oil, replace wiper blades and air filters, fill tires with air, and perform other light maintenance services. The role offers base pay and commissions, with pay of up to $15 per hour. The company describes opportunities to advance, including a path from lube technician to shop leadership.

Requirements

No prior experience is required; training is provided.
Must be willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under vehicles.
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
Must be over 18 years of age, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
Inspect and top off fluids.
Perform coolant exchanges.
Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
Maintain cleanliness of the work environment.
Provide excellent customer service.
Replace wiper blades and air filters, fill tires with air, and perform other light maintenance services.
