About The Position
Take 5 Oil Change is hiring an Oil Change Team Member to provide oil changes and other light vehicle maintenance services while delivering friendly, efficient customer service. No prior experience is required; the company provides paid training to teach team members how to perform the work. The role offers an opportunity to advance, with more than 90% of Shop Managers having started as lube technicians. Requirements
- No prior experience is required; must be willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to safely position beneath vehicles.
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
- Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
- Must be over 18 years of age, except applicants over 16 may qualify in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.
Responsibilities
- Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
- Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
- Inspect and top off fluids.
- Perform coolant exchanges.
- Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service.
