About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring full-time crew members and lube technicians. No prior experience is required; paid training is provided to teach team members to change oil, replace wiper blades and air filters, fill tires, and perform other light maintenance services. The role suits people who are willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude. Advancement opportunities are available, with over 90% of Shop Managers having started as lube technicians. Pay is up to $15 per hour, including base pay and commissions, with weekly bonuses also available. Flexible schedules are available. Employees may access up to 50% of earned wages early through myFlexPay.

Requirements

No prior experience required; willingness to learn, work hard, and maintain a positive attitude.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
Must be over 18 years old, except applicants over 16 may qualify in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
Inspect and top off fluids.
Perform coolant exchanges.
Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Provide excellent customer service.
Replace wiper blades and air filters, fill tires with air, and perform other light maintenance services.
