About The Position
Take 5 Oil Change is hiring full-time crew members and lube technicians. No experience is required; the company provides training in oil changes, replacing wiper blades and air filters, adding air to tires, and other light maintenance services. The role suits candidates who are willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude to the shop. Pay is up to $15 per hour, including base pay and commissions. Paid training supports advancement, and the company reports that over 90% of its Shop Managers started as lube technicians. Full-time and flexible schedules are available.
Requirements
- No previous experience is required; willingness to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude is expected.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
- Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
- Must be over 18 years old, except applicants over 16 may qualify in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.
Responsibilities
- Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
- Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
- Inspect and top off fluids.
- Perform coolant exchanges.
- Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service.
