About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a full-time Oil Change Team Member to work as a crew member and lube technician. No prior experience is required; the company provides training in oil changes and other light vehicle maintenance, including replacing wiper blades and air filters and filling tires with air. The role is suited to someone who enjoys working with cars, is people-oriented, self-motivated, willing to learn, hardworking, and positive. Compensation is up to $15 per hour, including base pay and commissions, with weekly bonuses also available. Paid training supports advancement within the company, and over 90% of Shop Managers reportedly started as lube technicians. Full-time and flexible schedules are available.

Requirements

• No prior experience is required; willingness to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude is expected.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
• Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
• Must be over 18 years of age, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off vehicle fluids.
• Perform coolant exchanges.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
