About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring full-time crew members and lube technicians. No prior experience is required; the company provides training in oil changes, replacing wiper blades and air filters, filling tires, and other light vehicle maintenance. The role is suited to someone who enjoys working with cars, is self-motivated, brings a positive attitude, and is willing to learn and work hard. Pay is up to $15 per hour, including base pay and commissions. Paid training and opportunities to advance into leadership roles are available. The position requires physical work in a shop environment, including entering a shallow service pit and working in hot or cold weather when necessary.

Requirements

• No experience required; willingness to learn and work hard is needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
• Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
• Must be over 18 years of age, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids.
• Perform coolant exchanges.
• Restock and maintain inventory on the floor.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
