About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring full-time crew members and lube technicians. No prior experience is required; paid training is provided. Team members learn to change oil, replace wiper blades and air filters, fill tires with air, and perform other light maintenance services. The role offers an opportunity to advance within the company, with more than 90% of Shop Managers having started as lube technicians. Pay is up to $15 per hour, including base pay and commissions, with weekly bonuses.

Requirements

• No experience required; willingness to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
• Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
• Must be over 18 years of age, except in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming, where the minimum age is over 16.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids.
• Perform coolant exchanges.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
