About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring an Oil Change Team Member to provide oil changes and light vehicle maintenance while delivering friendly, efficient customer service. No experience is required; the company provides paid training. Team members can learn to change oil, replace wiper blades and air filters, inflate tires, and perform other light maintenance services. The role offers opportunities to advance, with more than 90% of Shop Managers having started as lube technicians. The listed compensation range is $11.00–$16.00 per hour, with potential commissions or bonus incentives depending on the role.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
• Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions when necessary.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
• Must be over 18 years of age, except in the listed states where the minimum age is over 16.
• Willingness to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids.
• Perform coolant exchanges.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
