About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a part-time Oil Change Team Member to perform oil changes and other light vehicle maintenance while providing customer service. No experience is required; the company provides training for lube technician duties, including changing oil, replacing wiper blades and air filters, filling tires, and other light maintenance services. Team members may advance through the company, with paid training intended to support progression into leadership roles. Pay is up to $15 per hour, including base pay and commissions.

Requirements

• No prior experience is required; must be willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
• Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
• Must be over 18 years of age, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids.
• Perform coolant exchanges.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
