About The Position

Texas Instruments is seeking an experienced Offsite Manufacturing (OSM) Project Manager with dedicated expertise in Manufacturing Equipment Installation (MEI). The role leads a team responsible for the prefabrication, installation, commissioning, and startup of 300mm manufacturing equipment. It also coordinates with suppliers to ensure utility skids and modular assemblies are built to specification, safely transported, and integrated into the facility’s physical and utility infrastructure. The Project Manager oversees projects from pre-construction through closeout, managing budgets, master schedules, risk mitigation, and compliance while leading cross-functional teams. The position leads end-to-end manufacturing equipment installation, supplier coordination and offsite manufacturing integration, factory acceptance testing, 3D BIM modeling and coordination, logistics, and alignment between facility infrastructure and offsite-manufactured components. The role maintains schedules that coordinate offsite manufacturing lead times with facility preparation and commissioning and oversees equipment set dates and installation durations. Texas Instruments will not sponsor job applicants for visas or work authorization for this position.

  • Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and vendors to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Lead end-to-end manufacturing equipment installation, including installation package development, design reviews, equipment and utility layouts, utility hookups, commissioning, and utility startup.
  • Coordinate field activities with technicians and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and equipment manufacturers to monitor production of modular utility skids and utility components and ensure design compliance with specifications.
  • Track the percentage of tool prefabrication delivered by suppliers and identify innovations that improve offsite manufacturing levels or timing and cost efficiency.
  • Coordinate and participate in factory acceptance testing at offsite manufacturing facilities as needed to verify equipment performance and compliance before shipment.
  • Develop, modify, and maintain discipline-specific 3D models using core BIM software and project standards; perform clash detection and coordination, enforce the BIM Execution Plan, and maintain data and quality controls.
  • Manage complex manufacturing-equipment logistics schedules, including coordination of electrical and high- and low-purity piping contractors, life safety system installations, and tool-base design, fabrication, and installation.
  • Integrate offsite manufacturing into logistics planning to ensure schedule compliance.
  • Ensure site civil, structural, and MEP infrastructure is ready for offsite-manufactured utility skids and fabrications, including precise alignment of utility points of connection and adherence to space-management plans.
  • Maintain master schedules balancing offsite manufacturing lead times with onsite facility preparation and equipment commissioning, aligned with customer needs.
  • Oversee equipment set dates and installation durations.
