About The Position

Superior Packaging and Finishing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Offset Press Feeder to support Offset Press Operators in setting up, operating, and maintaining sheetfed printing presses. The role helps keep print runs efficient, high-quality, and on schedule. The Offset Press Feeder loads printing stock into the press and assists the lead pressman with print-related duties.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Ability to work long hours while standing and lifting heavy paper.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Heidelberg and Komori feeders.

Responsibilities

• Gather press supplies to help the press operator run the machine efficiently.
• Follow online work instructions for each printed project.
• Monitor the flow of paper and check for paper jams.
• Assist the press operator with cleaning the press and cylinders and removing plates.
• Make repairs to the machine as necessary.
• Follow quality and safety guidelines and company policies.
• Complete other responsibilities and assignments as required to achieve the position's goals and objectives.
