Requirements

  • Current resident of the state of Wisconsin
  • Possession of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least one (1) year of experience working in an office is required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of all related computer and software applications, such as word processing and spreadsheets is required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of fax machines, scanners, and printers.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working with the aging and disability community a plus.
  • Knowledge of office practices, principles, methods, and procedures
  • Knowledge of spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Knowledge of the use of a personal computer
  • Written and oral communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Proficiency in word processing and data entry
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to maintain records, files, and store items systematically
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-person customer service at front desk to address the needs of current and prospective clients.
  • Process WisGO and other transactions as needed.
  • Organize and restock mailroom, front desk, and lobby areas
  • Sort and distribute all incoming faxes and mail
  • Monitor inbox and maintain database to complete Preadmission Screen & Resident Review (PASRR) process.
  • Monitor inbox and maintain data base to complete Critical Incidents process.
  • Create pre-formatted monthly newsletter for Office for People with Disabilities
