About The Position

LG Chem Advance Materials, Inc. (LGCTA) is actively searching for an Office Services Manager to join our team in Clarksville, TN. The Office Services Manager will be an individual contributor reporting to our HR Lead and work in collaboration with our HR and Planning teams. The Office Services Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company's general affairs, including facilities management, office administration, and vendor management. This is a crucial role aimed at maintaining the efficiency and functionality of our company’s physical infrastructure and administrative processes. This position is based full time in Clarksville, TN and is not a remote role.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing/operations or similar industry.
  • Able to respond off hours and weekends for work related issues.
  • Able to sit, stand, walk, kneel, crouch, stoop, squat, crawl, twist, climb, and lift 40 lbs.
  • Exposure to heat, noise, outdoors, vibration, confining work space, chemicals, explosive materials, mechanical hazards, and electrical hazards.
  • Able to travel to different sites and locations; global travel.
  • Able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and other garments as needed. This may include safety shoes, safety glasses, Masks, full body gowns, hair nets, gloves and hearing protection.

Nice To Haves

  • Business-level proficiency in Korean preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written and presentation.
  • Proficiency in the use of PC and Microsoft Office suite (Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the project of installation of office furniture to the new factory building this year.
  • Manage individual projects assigned from the Company’s strategic facility plan as it relates to corporate vision and construction projects.
  • Coordinate with procurement team, legal and any other necessary departments for all contracts and scope of work for projects assigned.
  • Produce project drawings and graphic displays as needed for the project’s schematic development, including test-fits and layouts.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to general affairs.
  • Evaluate and choose vendors for furniture, office supplies, vending machines.
  • Operate the expenses related to the installation, purchasing, and maintenance.
  • Oversee the general affairs budget and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Expedite and coordinate delivery and installation of building equipment plans (MRO).
  • Ability to perform space planning such as departmental re-configurations and design.
  • Provide each department with updated floor plans and space planning-related data.
  • Prepare preliminary cost estimates.
  • Supports Human Resources (HR) on various special programs and HR-led company events and activities as assigned.
  • Review furniture dealership quotes for accuracy and completeness.
  • Preparing requests for proposed facilities projects to HQ in South Korea.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and contractors ensuring that projects stay on schedule and within budget.
  • Research and gather information on potential items/materials that could be used in the building projects.
  • Manage and restock supplies, ensuring availability as needed.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure smooth project execution.
