About The Position

Akerman is seeking a full-time Office Services Clerk for its Houston office. The successful candidate should be highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency and be well organized in a fast-paced environment. The Office Services Clerk work schedule will be 40 hours Monday through Friday with occasional overtime hours. Hours for this position will be 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Requirements

  • minimum of one (1) year experience in a general office or customer service oriented role
  • working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
  • able to comfortably lift twenty-five (25) to thirty (35) lbs
  • ability to develop rapport with employees while exhibiting excellent customer service

Responsibilities

  • mail processing
  • sorting and delivery of mail
  • conference room set up/clean up
  • inner-office moves
  • copy jobs/document productions
  • reception desk coverage
  • special projects as assigned
