This position is responsible for organizing and directing all activities related to the operation and maintenance of the assigned office area, as designated by the immediate supervisor. The role requires maintaining a neat, clean, and well-organized workspace, utilizing standard office procedures for correspondence, filing, and bookkeeping, and employing professional telephone techniques. The Office Secretary-Office Manager will also manage a desk calendar for due dates, complete assigned records and reports accurately and promptly, and adhere to all federal, state, and local policies and procedures, including those outlined in the Drug Free Workplace Act. The position demands the ability to adjust to new situations, demonstrate poise under pressure, and maintain good time management skills. Professional dress and grooming are expected, along with loyalty to the school system's administration. This is a twelve-month position.
