Office of Youth Ministry Intern
About The Position
The Office of Youth Ministry (OYM) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern for Summer 2027. This hands-on internship supports OYM’s mission to empower youth to live as disciples of Jesus Christ and provides opportunities for spiritual and professional growth in a supportive Catholic environment. The intern will assist with youth ministry operations, office support, and event planning, including Steubenville St. Louis Mid-America Youth Conferences and Totus Tuus Fridays. The internship runs from May 18, 2027, through July 23, 2027. Regular office hours are 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with some evenings and weekends required. The intern will attend and assist with the Steubenville Volunteer Meeting, support Totus Tuus events on Fridays, and serve as staff at Steubenville Conferences July 7–11 and July 15–19 at Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. Candidates receiving an employment offer must complete pre-employment screening. Screening includes a criminal background check, Family Care Safety Registration, drug screen, employment and educational licensure/certification verification, health screening, and any other screenings deemed necessary. Offers are contingent on successful completion of required screening.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Assist with event logistics, planning, and preparation, particularly for the Steubenville St. Louis Mid-America Youth Conferences.
- Manage databases, organize files, and provide office support.
- Represent OYM through phone calls, electronic communications, and at events.
- Participate in team prayer, meetings, and collaborative projects.
- Attend and assist with the Steubenville Volunteer Meeting.
- Support Totus Tuus events on Fridays.
- Serve as staff for the Steubenville Conferences.
