Office Engineer

Luster National•Los Angeles, CA

About The Position

Luster is seeking Office Engineers at various skill levels for future hiring needs supporting large, complex heavy-civil infrastructure programs. Projects may include highways, roads, bridges, bus and rail transit, international airports, and water and wastewater projects delivered using traditional and alternative delivery methods. The Office Engineer runs the construction office, maintaining submittals, RFIs, contract records, pay applications, and change documentation so records supporting payment, time, and entitlement remain complete and current for audits or claim reviews. This posting is for future roles rather than a currently available specific opportunity. Luster accepts applications and interviews candidates in advance of upcoming needs. Selected candidates may be activated in the talent pool for this specialty, which is notified first when a project need arises. Scope and complexity increase with experience level. The role requires coordinating construction documentation and review processes across active work areas and contract packages, tracking compliance and payment records, and working with contractors, designers, and agency staff. The position also supports reporting, schedule updates, and document-control practices. Luster describes an inclusive work environment and provides the listed benefits; specific plan details and coverage are provided upon offer.
