In this role, you will ensure the smooth daily operations of our office, handle administrative tasks, and maintain an organized and efficient workspace.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as an office assistant, receptionist, or similar role, preferably in the healthcare field.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance are required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine tasks such as copying, filing, scanning, and faxing.
  • Open, sort, and distribute mail to the appropriate recipients.
  • Organize and manage medical records in the EMR database and paper charts per Agency protocols.
  • Upload progress notes into the EMR system to support timely payroll, contractor payments, and billing.
  • Support with inputting schedules and new patient information as required.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient, employee, and contractor information.
  • Follow all Agency policies and procedures.
  • Undertake other tasks as assigned to ensure efficient office operations.
