About The Position

Baptist Health Rehab Services provides a full range of physical, occupational, and speech therapy services for all ages. Our therapists and assistants are trained in treating neurological, orthopedic, vestibular, lymphedema, pediatrics, industrial medicine, swallowing, and speech and language disorders. The Office Coordinator is responsible for completing clerical and administrative support tasks to enable Rehab Service overall function; as well as providing services to support and assist with safe patient care.

Requirements

• High School/GED
• One Year related experience
• BLS within 30 days

Nice To Haves

• Medical Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages multi-line phone system (answered courteously within 3 rings).
• Completes monthly statistical reports for manager and department director.
• Monitors and clears referral work queue daily.
• Handles co-payment collections; including logging of payments, issuing receipts, and daily deposits at cashier’s office.
• Prepares treatment rooms/areas (clean linens, modality/equipment as needed, etc).
