About The Position

Behavioral Health Associates (BHA) is an educational organization that offers an academic learning environment integrated with behavior support services for students diagnosed with emotional/behavioral disorders. The goal is to empower students in overcoming challenges and creating new stories in their lives. This role is for a full-time, year-round Office Coordinator for the new PRIDE Program at Pottsville Academy, which is slated to open at the beginning of the 2026-2027 School Year. The Office Coordinator provides clerical and administrative support to the staff, students, and parents/guardians of the NOVA Program.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), required.
Strong communication skills, required.
Must have Microsoft Office/computer experience.
Strong telephone communication skills.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Possesses excellent interpersonal skills.
Must be skilled in establishing rapport and maintaining a professional working relationship with students, parents/guardians, staff, and outside entities.
Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
Must have the ability to multi-task.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Experience in education settings, preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain student records related to enrollments, withdrawals, and transfers.
Assist with new student onboarding and follow-ups with families.
Communicate student progress with students, parents/guardians, and home school districts.
Maintain accurate record keeping, such as daily attendance.
Work closely with the program directors to manage the everyday needs of the program.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Accurately file and manage paperwork.
Coordinate and schedule meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned by Administration.
