About The Position

The office coordinator performs administrative duties within the Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Science, & Athletic Training (PTRSAT) department to coordinate and maintain efficient office operations and performs administrative duties to support the on-campus and Hybrid DPT programs, faculty and students. Responsibilities will generally fall within the categories of administrative, teaching lab coordination and lab immersion logistics, new student communication, marketing communications, and special projects for the department chair and hybrid program.

Responsibilities

  • Primary point of contact for students planning hybrid lab immersion experiences
  • Maintain lab immersion guides for faculty and travel guides for students, and assist with onboarding students
  • Schedules shared lab space, maintain lab immersion calendars, and schedule classrooms
  • Oversees shared teaching lab equipment inventory and maintenance
  • Develops social media content and assists with updating web pages, working closely with department faculty and KUMC/SHP communications
  • Provides administrative support for comprehensive exams
  • Assist with event planning for the department
  • Serves as Proctor for student exams
  • Provides administrative support for day-to-day office needs
