About The Position

McCorquodale Transfer is seeking an Office Admin to join their team. This role involves daily data entry into an internal inventory management site and invoicing customers for receiving and delivery charges using QuickBooks Online. The position also includes filing and other light office tasks as needed. Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) required
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Organized
  • Proficient in personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common documents
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, management, and staff
  • Ability to effectively present information to management, staff, and customers
  • Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with supervisor, customers, and staff, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in QuickBooks Online a plus
  • Prior experience in office administration, handling financial records and basic accounting in the moving, logistics, or storage industry preferred
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations and scheduling logistics is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Data Entry into internal inventory management site – daily
  • Invoicing of Customers for Receiving charges and Delivery charges from billing software (QBO) – daily
  • Filing and other light office tasks – as needed
