About The Position

The Ocean Course Cottage Attendant is responsible for daily cleaning of The Ocean Course Clubhouse and for preparing and inspecting The Ocean Course Cottages for guest arrivals, including departure cleaning. The role includes concierge services, placing personalized amenities, and ensuring that guest-ordered items are in the cottages before arrival. The attendant also delivers meals, responds to guest requests, maintains supplies and storage areas, and documents maintenance needs. Strong attention to detail, guest focus, communication, and the ability to work independently and with a team are important.

Requirements

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Computer fluency, including the ability to send emails and learn relevant computer systems.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle; use of a personal vehicle is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry items across short-to-medium distances.
• Ability to stand for the entirety of a shift while reaching, bending, and stooping.
• Ability to reach, bend, lift, and carry furniture and equipment.
• Ability to follow directions and perform tasks with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and follow-through.
• Ability to work without direct supervision and as part of a team.
• Ability to set up and organize work areas using designated equipment.
• Articulate, personable, courteous, and helpful interaction with guests and coworkers, including high-end clientele.
• Must work onsite because of the daily requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Clean The Ocean Course Cottages, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Prepare cottages for guest arrivals and perform departure and deep cleaning as needed.
• Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities.
• Stock, maintain, and transport the housekeeping supply cart, and maintain cottage linen storage.
• Deliver breakfast and, at times, other meals to cottages.
• Place personalized amenities in cottages and ensure pre-ordered food, beverages, and other items are stocked for guests.
• Take ownership of guest requests and ensure they are completed; communicate with guests and internal departments by speaking and email.
• Maintain cleaning procedures in clubhouse public spaces, including restrooms, locker rooms, lobby, and function spaces.
• Clean multiple common areas efficiently and keep restrooms continuously supplied and refreshed.
• Keep storage areas clean and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Replenish cottage cutlery and kitchen equipment as needed and inventory cottage supplies.
• Document daily maintenance requests for the cottages and clubhouse, and report faulty equipment, safety hazards, or other maintenance needs.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables.
• Use computer systems for food and beverage, front desk, and golf tee-time functions; send emails and shift reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
