Requirements

• Current Michigan Occupational Therapy Assistant license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• A compassionate, patient-focused approach to care

Nice To Haves

• Previous skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Help patients improve daily living skills, mobility, coordination, and independence
• Implement individualized treatment plans and document patient progress
• Collaborate with occupational therapists and interdisciplinary team members
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and adaptive strategies
