Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
About The Position
Premier Pediatric Therapy provides in-home pediatric therapy services to help children develop confidence, skills, and independence. The Occupational Therapy Assistant provides engaging, evidence-based occupational therapy under the supervision of an OTR, supporting children's emotional, physical, social, and developmental needs through a whole-child, interdisciplinary approach. The role works closely with families and fellow clinicians and celebrates children's progress in play, school, and daily life. The position is based in the Longview, Texas/Gilmer, Texas area and is offered PRN or part-time with flexible scheduling options. Pay starts at $45.00 per session.
Requirements
- Be a certified and licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in the state of Texas.
- Have experience or a strong interest in pediatrics.
- Have a positive, playful attitude and a heart for working with children.
- Have team spirit and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide engaging, evidence-based occupational therapy under the supervision of an OTR.
- Help children develop skills for play, school, and daily life.
- Communicate and collaborate closely with families and fellow clinicians.
- Support each child's emotional, physical, social, and developmental needs as part of an interdisciplinary team.
