About The Position
As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will work under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to provide restorative and rehabilitative services that maximize participant independence and enhance performance of activities of daily living (ADLs). The role supports participants through treatment, testing, care coordination, and documented interventions.
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher.
- At least 1 year of clinical documentation experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in EHR coordination or rehabilitation.
- A valid Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR) license or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification.
Responsibilities
- Administer participant treatment programs.
- Assist in obtaining vital signs and conducting testing.
- Coordinate with the rehabilitation team.
- Handle scheduling and billing.
- Track equipment maintenance.
- Deliver and document interventions.
