Full Time Floating Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA)
About The Position
Preferred Therapy Solutions is hiring a full-time floating Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) to serve senior living communities in assisted living, independent living, and memory care settings, as well as homes. The position floats among facilities in Augusta, Waterville, and Hallowell, Maine, and offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus. The company describes itself as therapist-owned and operated, with an emphasis on appropriate and ethical patient care, supporting therapists, and helping patients achieve their highest level of independence. The successful candidate will provide therapy services, collaborate with rehabilitation therapists and nursing staff, maintain timely and detailed electronic documentation, and be flexible with hours. The stated pay range is $25 to $32 per hour.
Requirements
- Possess a current COTA license or be license eligible to practice in the state of employment.
- Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Have experience with electronic documentation.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and timeliness with documentation.
- Work well with others in a team setting.
- Be flexible with hours.
