Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - COTA/OTA - Full Time
About The Position
Preferred Therapy Solutions is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) for its sub-acute/skilled nursing rehabilitation departments. The position is split between two facilities in Dexter and Hartland. Travel time and mileage are paid when traveling between the facilities on the same day. The successful candidate will provide compassionate therapy services and collaborate with rehabilitation therapists and nursing staff to help residents reach their highest level of independence. The role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for continuing education and mentorship.
Requirements
- Possess a current Occupational Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed.
- Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Have experience with electronic documentation.
- Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation.
- Work well with others in a team setting.
- Be flexible with hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting.
- Work collaboratively with other rehabilitation therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team environment.
