About The Position
Preferred Therapy Solutions is hiring a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) for its sub-acute/skilled nursing rehabilitation department in Fairfield, Connecticut. The role provides comprehensive, compassionate therapy services to residents and works collaboratively with rehabilitation therapists and nursing staff to support residents in reaching their highest level of independence. Requirements
- Hold a current Occupational Therapy Assistant license or be eligible for licensure in the state of employment.
- Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Have experience with electronic documentation.
- Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation.
- Work well with others in a team setting.
- Be flexible with hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting.
- Collaborate with other rehabilitation therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team environment.
- Complete documentation with attention to detail and timeliness.
